Rikki Frenkel, RA

Rikki Frenkel is an Architect with deep roots in New York City. She obtained her Master of Architecture from Columbia University in 2012 and is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Real Estate Development. She is also a proud graduate of the CUNY Honors College at Queens. Prior to her career in Architecture she studied science and synthetic biology, specializing in proteins and conducting research at various facilities including the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Rikki has been with Michael Muroff Architect since 2007 when she joined the team as a young summer intern. Regarding the firm she says:

“I love that I can take on many different roles and responsibilities, because it affords me the unique opportunity to see a design concept applied through every aspect of the building, start to finish.“

Rikki is a Siemens Westinghouse Scholar. Most summers she takes a pilgrimage out to the Nevada desert to participate in a radical experiment in art and temporary urbanism, otherwise known as Burning Man. She enjoys cooking, camping, and commuting via bike across the Brooklyn Bridge.
